- West Paw: Natural Habitat’s first new partner of the year was West Paw, a Montana-based company that makes premium tier dog toys, treats, and beds. As a company with a B Corp Certification, West Paw adheres to the highest standards with verified performance, transparency, and accountability in their high quality products. With the prevalence of palm oil in products like dog treats, this partnership empowers West Paw to create healthy, eco-friendly products for our furry friends and empowers Natural Habitats to make a positive change within the pet industry. As West Paw journeys forward to decrease their “environmental pawprint,” they can enrich their products with 100% organic, sustainable, traceable palm oil—a huge benefit to the standard of their treats.
- Kulig Aromatique: When it comes to self-care, fragrances and essential oils can enrich the experience with luxury and relaxation. What’s better than luxury done responsibly? This year, we partnered with Kulig Aromatique, a Montreal-based supplier of high quality fragrances and oils that upholds a mission to deliver products that don’t harm our environment. By utilizing fully traceable palm oil through Natural Habitats, Kulig Aromatique can empower their customers with excellent products that are also eco-friendly, vegan, and free of phthalates and parabens. Working with Kulig Aromatique has provided an exciting opportunity to make a positive change in this fragrance and oil industry.
- Project Hive Pet Company: Another wonderful 2023 addition to our list of partners is Project Hive Pet Company, a company from Minnesota that aims to provide engaging products for dogs while also working to save the bees. As a critical part of our food supply, bees play an essential role in our world, and Project Hive Pet Company works to spread this mission. Pups can enjoy crunchy biscuits, spreadable treats, and chew sticks, all made with quality sustainable ingredients. Because of Project Hive Pet Company’s eco-friendly, ethical approach to dog toys and treats, our partnership with this awesome company is a perfect match. Along with ethically sourced palm oil, their treats also utilize organic honey and is Non-GMO Project Verified.

- Protect Our Species Month: In June, Natural Habitats celebrated Protect Our Species Month, an observance to promote the necessity of protecting and preserving native species and their ecosystems. Natural Habitats works closely with many plantations and independent farmers located in South America, and we understand the value of keeping these ecosystems balanced and maintained. When humans step into nature and cause damage of any sort, the environment can be thrown off. For Protect Our Species Month, we promoted the importance of conserving biodiversity, as well as reforesting and restoring habitats that were harmed by humans.

- West Palm Creamy Dog Treats: In March, West Palm launched their Creamy Dog Treats, the favorite snack of man’s best friend. In collaboration with Palm Done Right, West Palm created these creamy treats that dogs can enjoy and owners can feel good about—a perfect combination to make the best snacks. With a formulation that utilizes responsibly sourced ingredients, pet parents can happily provide their dogs with healthy treats that do good for our environment. These doggy snacks are even gluten-free, grain-free, xylitol-free, and vegan. What more could a pet parent ask for?
